GCAP 2013 Fun Times in Melbourne

So, the last few months have certainly been filled with plenty of fun stuff and keeping PLENTY busy.
I'll certainly be getting around to doing some batch uploads of stuff that's been done soon. I'll get around to that when time permits.

For now, I thought I'd drop an update regarding where things are at currently.
For the next few days I'll be over in the rad city of Melbourne for a 3 day conference with my good pal and fellow artist Steve.
This is the second year I'm coming here, and it's looking like it's going to be a great event. Very keen to hear some of the speakers and especially the full day autodesk workshops.

So, that's me. After I'm back and settled in I'll make some time to get some stuff uploaded as well as continue my current projects. Good times ahead!

Racing Around.

Well, since my last update I've been keeping plenty busy.

I was lucky enough to get picked up by Easley-Dunn Games for an internship.
So far it's been excellent. I've been given the opportunity to work with the team on environment art pieces on the iOs title Robot Race.

At the moment we're currently working on two new levels that are being released in the next update.

I'll be sharing some work from these projects as I can.

Also keeping me busy, I'm currently doing some amazing classes through the new CDW Studios, run by Simon Scales.

CDW is a brilliant new art school focused on the entertainment industry. My Digital Painting class, run by Simon, and my Creature Design class, run by Nick Pill, have so far been invaluable sources of learning and skills development.
I'll be posting up some work from CDW very soon.  For now, check below for Robot Race work.

Underwater Speedpaintsssss

"Fisn 'n' Ships"
This fella was a speedpaint from the other week. It was a good chance for some practice on a few techniques I hadn't used before.
